Nail of the Day

So today I'm wearing Chine Glaze's Refresh-mint. It's so pretty! Definitely one of my favorites. I've heard others talk about how much they like this color, and I don't blame them one bit. To me it was a little more messy to apply than what Essie is, but maybe I'm just used to their consistency, since that's mainly the brand I've been using lately. Oh, I'm rambling again. Ha! Well, without further ado, here's a picture!

Today I'm wearing Essie's In Stitches. Those who know me know that it's a rare thing to see me sporting red polish. I'm not sure why, just is. I suppose it's probably because I don't like most of the shades against my skin tone? Sure. Anyway, I'm loving this color. It's red, but a muted red and I just think it's so pretty for fall (even if it doesn't really feel like it here, ha!).

I officially have a youtube account now. :) No videos are up yet. I have filmed one, a haul from my shopping trip, but youtube hates me and won't let me upload it. Boo! It's just because my beloved macbook is kind of older, and I've been lacking in the update department (I'm still running on Tiger...since then there has been Leopard, Snow Leopard, and now Lion). BUT I did find this site that will convert it to an appropriate format for me, but since I'm refusing to pay money to use it, I have to wait 23 hours. So I'm just going to be patient and wait for it to come and THEN upload it.

Please keep in mind that this is my very first video and I'm pretty sure that it's a little bit horrendous. But here's to hoping that I get better and become more of a natural! At least I don't feel like I'm reading a script. Or maybe I do, you tell me! Ha. :)

So today I finally went out and bought some new polish! Woo hoo! Today I'm wearing Essie's Sew Psyched. Absolutely LOVING the color. I have another darker green polish that I THOUGHT would turn out like so, but not so much. I still like it, but I love this one. :)




Also, sorry that it's not in natural light. I have two reasons for this. One, it was raining a good part of today and didn't have the best lighting. Two, by the time I had time to do my nails today, most of the light was gone anyway. Sorry! Hopefully the next one can be nice and natural. :D
